How to do Back Squat
- 01Set the barbell on the upper traps and stand with feet slightly wider than shoulder width.
- 02Inhale deeply into the abdomen and begin the descent by sitting the hips back while pushing the knees outward.
- 03Lower the hips until they pass below the knee line while keeping the spine in a neutral position.
- 04Drive the floor away through the mid-foot to return to a standing position.
- 05Exhale forcefully as the barbell clears the sticking point halfway up.
